James Kent is the Editor of Canarieschatter.com and a freelance writer specializing in sports content; he is based in Norwich, GB and has written over 800 articles for the web. Although, previous experience is of some value here, it's current work that is most important, currently James is focusing his work on the Yahoo! Contributor Network, Bleacher Report and existing Skyword programs.
He has recently surpassed 500 articles on the Yahoo! Contributor Network, James has been working through this website since 2006, but his best results have come more recently. A former Featured Contributor for Sports allowed him to write articles on soccer, tennis, Formula One, sports video games and sports entertainment that were all published onto Yahoo! Sports. However, the program was terminated on December, 2012. He also regularly gets awarded a hot 500 badge each month that places him within the top contributors based on page views for the monthly period. James has been writing for Bleacher Report for a little over a year and has recently started to see some great results for that work.
His role as a Featured Columnist means writing on World Football and Norwich City. This means writing articles that assigned through an editor and others that are his choice. He recently enjoyed his most successful piece to date that generated over 100,000 page views. James has also been accepted into the Gather News and Stack Media News Skyword programs. He has also written for Football FanCast and other content writing sites like Helium.com. As a big Norwich City fan, his latest venture is a fans website where he is the owner and editor. This is in some ways different to his work as a freelance writer and an opportunity to showcase some other skills including marketing.
Social media is another passion, and James is active on Twitter with over 1800 followers and also runs his own Facebook page to showcase all of his articles. It should also be noted that James is a diverse writer that enjoys working on a variety of subjects. Sports is a major passion, but there are other subjects that are always fun to write about. Movies, finance, relationships, fitness, video games and television are other subjects of interest.
